Privacy Policy
Effective 7 December 2026.
Art of Procurement is run by Procure Change LLC, 14131 Magnolia Ridge Loop, Winter Garden, FL 34787, USA (“we”, “us”). We publish podcasts, articles, research, newsletters, webinars and events for procurement and supply chain professionals at artofprocurement.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Questions: contact@artofprocurement.com.
1. What we collect
- Details you give us. When you create a free account, subscribe, register for a webinar or event, download a paper, fill in a form or contact us: your name, email address, company, job title and country, and sometimes your phone number, industry, company size and your answers to questions on the form (for example, which ProcureTech100 categories interest you).
- Your account. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email address. There are no passwords. We keep a record of when codes are requested and used. A sign-in lasts up to 60 days on a device, then we ask for a new code.
- What you do on the site. Pages you read, how many free pages you have used, items you save, topics and people you follow, shortlists and comparisons you make, guides you email to yourself, downloads, and webinars you register for and attend.
- Emails. Whether our emails reach you and whether you open them or click their links.
- Device and log information. IP address, device and browser type, the page that sent you to us, and the pages you view and when.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use it
Where EU or UK law applies, the legal basis is shown in brackets.
- To run the site and your account: signing you in, the free-page limit, saved items, follows and shortlists (to provide the service you asked for).
- To send the newsletters and emails you signed up for. EU and UK readers are only added to newsletters if they tick the box (consent). Everyone else can unsubscribe at any time (legitimate interests).
- To deliver what you request, including sponsored papers and webinars (to provide the service you asked for). This includes working out how engaged you are with the topic or solution category, for example a high, medium or low level of interest, and, where the form says so, sharing that with the form’s sponsor or partner (legitimate interests, or consent where the law requires it).
- To understand which topics, providers and solution categories interest our readers and their organisations, so we can plan our content, research and events, and tell you about Art of Procurement’s own events, research and services. Our team may contact you about these based on the topics you have shown interest in (legitimate interests).
- To measure and improve the site, and to measure our advertising on other sites (consent, where the law requires it).
- To keep the site secure, prevent misuse, and meet our legal obligations (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
3. When we share your information
- Sponsors and partners named on a form. Many of our papers, webinars, research and lists, including the ProcureTech100 yearbook, are produced with sponsors or partners. When you complete a form that tells you your information will be shared with a sponsor or partner, we share it with them. That can include the details you enter, your answers to the form’s questions (for example, which solution categories interest you), and a summary of your engagement with related topics on Art of Procurement, such as a high, medium or low level of interest in a solution category. Where a form asks which categories interest you, we may share your information with the partner for each category you choose. Sponsors and partners use your information under their own privacy policies, including to contact you about their products and services.
- Service providers who work for us under contract and may only use your information to do that work:
| Type of provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Reader and email platform | Our reader database, newsletters and emails, page tracking and the free-page limit |
| Customer relationship system | Our records of sponsors, events and enquiries |
| Website hosting and databases | Run the website and store reading activity such as saves, follows and shortlists |
| Webinar platform | Runs our webinars |
| Workflow tools | Pass form entries between our systems |
| Email and file storage | Our email, and the files we use to pass form entries to the sponsor or partner named on the form |
| Analytics and advertising services | Measure site use and our advertising, and identify the companies visiting the site, only where you have agreed if the law requires it (named in our Cookie Policy) |
| Video players | Play videos on the site |
Contact us if you would like to know which provider handles a particular part of this work.
- Legal reasons. When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our readers or others.
- If the business changes hands. As part of a merger, sale or reorganisation, under the same protections.
- Market insights. We combine reading activity across all our readers, such as the topics, provider categories and providers people research, shortlist and compare, into market-level insights, for example “interest in contract management software rose 30% this quarter among large enterprises”. We may publish these or share them with our partners. They never name you or your organisation, and they never include anything that identifies you.
We do not sell lists of our readers. We share your information with a sponsor or partner only when a form you complete tells you we will.
4. Where your information is kept
We are based in the United States, and our service providers mainly store information there. When we receive information from the EU or UK, we rely on the safeguards the law provides for transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.
5. How long we keep it
- Your account and reading activity: while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your account and the reading activity linked to you within 30 days. We may keep that activity in a form that no longer identifies you (no name, email or company), as part of overall figures such as how much interest there is in a topic. We also keep a short record that you asked to be removed, so we do not add you again by mistake.
- Accounts nobody has signed in to for 3 years: we delete them, unless you still receive our newsletters.
- Sponsor form entries: for as long as we need them for the purposes in this policy, including our work with that sponsor or partner and any questions about the campaign. After that we delete or anonymise them.
- Unsubscribes: we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we can respect your choice.
- Log information: up to 12 months.
6. Your choices and rights
- Change your details, newsletters and topics on your account page, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Delete your account from your account page, or email contact@artofprocurement.com. We act on requests within 30 days.
- Change your cookie choices at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page. This is also where you can turn off advertising cookies.
- Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to see a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, move it to another service, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw consent. Email contact@artofprocurement.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Age
The site is for professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, including sponsors’ and providers’ sites. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
